Basic Service Plan A (60 datasets in Suncus murinus)

• will be $80,000, now HKD$30,000 (approximately USD$4,000)

One drug will be tested at 3 doses surrounding the median effective concentration (EC50) at duodenum, ileum and colon and 1 dose at stomach on tissues isolated from six Suncus murinus (6 experimental repeats) [#3]. Please carefully read the experimental success rate. [#4]. Vehicle control data of water or DMSO can be provided upon request ($2,000). Drug profile created by Basic Service Plan A will be consistent to drug profile stored in our drug database of the Suncus murinus (>100 drugs, >5,700 datasets in Aug 2022), which may allow easy drug-to-drug comparison.

* The Suncus murinus, a rodent-size emetic animal models. Common laboratory animals, e.g. mice and rats, do not vomit.

Basic Service Plan B (60 datasets in ICR mice)

• will be $80,000, now $30,000
• suitable to obtain preliminary insight:
• Advantage: profile match with our drug database

Three drugs will be tested at 3 doses surrounding the median effective concentration (EC50) at ileum only on tissues isolated from six ICR mice (6 experimental repeats) [#4]. Duodenum may be tested upon request ($20,000). One drug and one dose to be tested on the stomach maybe added upon request, note that the success rate for recording data fro stomach is quite low, no guarantee in obtaining high-quality data ($0). Vehicle control data of water or DMSO can be provided upon request ($2,000). Drug profile created by Basic Service Plan B will be partially consistent to drug profile stored in the drug database of the mouse ileum* (>60 drugs, >600 datasets in Aug 2022).

Other Service Plan (per 20 datasets):

• will be $30,000, now $12,000 for orders using Suncus murinus or mice.

Protocols upon request. Drug tested under client-specialized protocol may be charged differentially and may not be consistent with our drug databases for reliable drug-to-drug comparison report generation.

[#3] ​Sex of the animals may be specified by client, if not specified, either male, female or a mixture will be used.

[#4] ​Electrophysiology experiment can never reach 100% success rate in getting high-quality recording. Our protocol have been optimized and standardized in the past 6 years to reach the best possible success rate. The final drug testing report will only show data with good quality as optimized and filtered by our standardized analytical pipeline. Raw data including data that do not pass quality requirement can be provided to client upon request.

*colon signals from the mouse are not stable (Liu et al., 2019)

Confidential plan

• suitable for private companies with confidential drug compounds
• please use Coding Method for drug name
• must provide Material Safety Data Sheets before sending us the compound (need not to disclose full chemical structure)
• no illegal drugs governed by the Hong Kong Law.
• solvents and dilution protocols will be requested
• IMPORTANT: Confidential agreement will be voided if a later client order drug testing service for the same drug (same CAS number) under mutual benefit discount upon 7-day notification to the earlier client under confidential plan. Therefore, coding the drug name without CAS no. will be highly recommended for service under confidential plan.
• Similarly, in the case of the same drug (same CAS number) tested by different clients under mutual benefit plans. The disclosure date will be set at the earliest for clients testing the same drug. For example, if the later clients choose to disclose immediately, but the earlier client would like to delay disclosure to 6-month. The disclosure date will be set at the earliest, where the client that may suffer from conflict of interest will be informed by emails 7-day prior to the disclosure date. To promote quick data sharing and conflicts, it is highly recommend to choose the option to disclose immediately.

​Mutual benefit discount service plan

• will be $50,000, now $20,000
• only applicable Plan A and Plan B above, or drug profile with same format as our drug database
• suitable for non-profit organizations and non-confidential drug compounds
• participate in sustainable development in data sharing

Drug(s) will be tested using Basic Service Plan A or B with discount price. Drug testing data will be disclosed into our drug database published online after a maximum of 6-month confidential period. Date of disclosure will be 0-day to 6-month, starting from the date of receival confirmation of the drug testing report by client with options to disclose immediately or 6-month after. If no receival confirmation was received by the Company within 7-day after drug testing report was sent to client, the date of disclosure will be automatically set to 6-month for all drug tested under this mutual benefit discount service plan.

Drug-to-drug Comparison Service

• suitable to prepare competitive reports over existing drugs
• to identify potential drug combination to counteract unexpected drug-induced side effects

​Drug-to-drug comparison report can be provided to compare the tested drug profile in Service Plan A with drug profiles stored in our database (Current drug list) (approximately $10,000 per drug for full drug profile, or simple comparison profile $1,000 (students t-tests for all "electrical" features). Price upon enquiries.

Purchase tested drug reports: All full drug profiles in our private drug database may be purchased with discount price to 30% off to testing the drug again using the Drug Testing Service. This option aims to promote data reusability, sustainability and reduce the use of animal resources.
