Our Team
Peng is currently an Associate Professor at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland. He obtained his Ph.D. in Bioengineering in the University of Auckland. He is an expert in bioelectrical data analysis specialized in gut dysrhythmia and self-engineer flexible electrode pads. Stella is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Health Sciences, Caritas Institute of HIgher Education. Her research focuses on chemotherapy-induced emesis with experience in clinical trials. Jack is currently a Research Associate at CUHK. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Pharmacology (CUHK, 2013). He has over 13 years experience in animal research and is an expert in in-vivo radio-telemetric technologies. Piu is a Laboratory Technician at CUHK for over 20 years. He has great experience in laboratory management and animal research. He has contact to a network of laboratory drugs, consumables and equipment service providers. Jessica is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a B.Sc. in Biological Science in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, 2019. She uses zebrafish as model to study diabetic gut dysmotility and develops image-based gut-dysmotility analytical platform. Aleena is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences in the University of Hong Kong, 2021. She is trained to analysis in-vivo bio-electrical data in ferrets, including gastric myoelectric activity, respiratory and cardiac signals. Lingqing is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering at Hunan University, 2019. She is trained to analyze changes in in-vivo bio-electrical activity in emesis using Suncus murinus as model. Nora is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a Master degree at Peking University, 2019. She studies opioid drug-induced effects on gut myoelectrical activity. Kate is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a Master degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, 2021. She is in-training to study motion-sickness induced changes in in-vivo bio-electrical activiy in Suncus murinus. Yingyi is a Ph.D. student in School of Biomedical Sciences at CUHK. She has a Master degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, 2020. She is in-training to study electrical activity at the uterus in diabetic mouse. Advisory Team
